In October-November of this year, ReOrient 2023 celebrated the return of their signature program, an innovative and spirited festival of short plays from or about the Middle East. Playwrights this year included Katrin Arefy, Adam Ashraf Elsayigh, Yussef El Guindi, Arti Ishak, Hamed Sinno, Judith Boyajian Strang-Waldau.

Here is my modest attempt to translate Fairuz's song "Khidni Ya Habibi خدني يا حبيبي " [Take Me Away, My Love] from Arabic into English.
