It does not mention Mubarak. It is about any Egyptian who loves his/her country.
Seems a bit misleading to insert a video of Mubarak with the song. Also please note that this song was released way before the uprising.
Check out my post on Tamer Hosny, another Egyptian pop idol, who was booed off the stage during the uprising for failing to support the people earlier than he did.Dr. Ramzi Saltihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15425649212721227468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6905758823896102397.post-26260313144013539582011-02-15T21:21:19.281-08:002011-02-15T21:21:19.281-08:00Does Amr Diab have any politics? It's been reported in the press that he jetted out of Egypt with his family during the uprising.

Is he a tool of the power elite and an apologist for the status quo, or does he have any care other than his own wealth and fame?

What is this song about: http://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments=1&v=kBsv1bRIlME Is it glorifying Mubarak, or is it criticizing him? Or is it even about him?

thanksVia from Portlandnoreply@blogger.com
